August 27, Fineko/abc.az. The names of the banks that achieved the largest increase in net operating profit in Azerbaijan in the first half of 2025 have been revealed.

According to ABC.AZ, citing the financial statements of the banks as of June 30, 2025, the top position in terms of net operating profit growth was taken by OJSC “VTB Bank (Azerbaijan)”. The bank’s profit increased by 2.922 million manats, or 93.3%.

Second place went to OJSC Turanbank with a 56.7% increase, amounting to 5.214 million manats. OJSC Bank of Baku ranked third with an increase of 5.152 million manats (37.6%), while the Baku branch of Bank Melli Iran came fourth with an increase of 571,000 manats (37.5%).

Other banks on the list include:

OJSC Ziraat Bank Azerbaijan — up 3.011 million manats (23.3%),

OJSC Azerbaijan Industrial Bank — up 738,000 manats (22.7%),

OJSC Premium Bank — up 1.026 million manats (18.4%),

OJSC Kapital Bank — up 28.820 million manats (13.6%),

OJSC Bank BTB — up 289,000 manats (12.4%),

CJSC Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaijan — up 843,000 manats (11.4%),

OJSC Expressbank — up 778,000 manats (7.9%),

OJSC Bank Respublika — up 2.475 million manats (7.4%),

CJSC AccessBank — up 1.344 million manats (4.1%),

OJSC Xalq Bank — up 401,000 manats (0.9%),

OJSC International Bank of Azerbaijan (ABB) — up 349,000 manats (0.1%).
