August 26, Fineko/abc.az. The average nominal monthly salary of employees in Baku in January–May of the current year amounted to 1,374.9 manats. According to ABC.AZ, this was reported by the Baku City Statistics Department.

It should be noted that in January–June 2025, the average nominal monthly salary of employees in the country’s economy increased by 9.4% compared to the corresponding period of 2024 and amounted to 1,097.3 manats. The salary in the oil and gas sector amounted to 3,918.7 manats, while in the non-oil and gas sector it was 1,044.9 manats. The average salary of employees of state-owned enterprises was 1,061.8 manats, while in the private sector it was 1,133.0 manats. According to the report, this is 8.1% more than in the same period of 2024.
