July 31, Fineko/abc.az. The number of Azerbaijani citizens who traveled abroad for tourist trips in the 1st half of 2025 reached 601,000 people.

ABC.AZ informs that the indicator is 2.2% less versus Jan-Jun 2024.

Turkey became the most visited country by Azerbaijani citizens - 216,619 people (3.4% less than last year). Trips to Russia decreased by 32.4% to 108,762 people. Instead, there was a significant increase in trips to the UAE (+14.7%), Georgia (+34.5%), Egypt (+120.6%) and Israel (+332.5%).

The sharpest decline was observed on trips to Iraq (-76.5%) and Switzerland (-45%).
