July 22, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Jun 2025, the Azerbaijani State Budget revenues on the oil & gas sector amounted to 9.526 billion manats (2.7% more than the forecast and 8.3% more versus Jan-Jun 2024).

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the Ministry of Finance, that the share of the oil & gas sector in budget revenues makes up 48.1% for Jan-Jun 2025.

In the 1st half of the year, 24% of State Budget revenues from the oil & gas sector, or 2.286 billion manats, were transferred by tax authorities, and 76%, or 7.24 billion manats, by the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan (SOFAZ).

52.7% of the finances received from the tax authorities, or 1.203 billion manats, were formed due to income tax on Shah Deniz field, 39.2% or 897.6 million manats - from taxes paid by the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), 8.1% or 184.6 million manats - from profit tax paid by the AIOC.
