July 21, Fineko/abc.az. Amazon has laid off about 100 employees at its largest cloud service, Amazon Web Services (AWS), without warning.

ABC.AZ informs that the reason is automation: their responsibilities will shift to algorithms. The dismissed described the process as "cold and soulless".

AWS occupies 30% of the global cloud services market, ahead of Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud. The company said the cuts were the result of a review of internal priorities.
