July 17, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan is ready to promote the establishment of joint ventures with Vietnam and the development of cooperation between entrepreneurs of the two countries.
ABC.AZ informs that Yusif Abdullayev, the executive director of the Azerbaijan Export & Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO), made this statement at a meeting of the Azerbaijan-Vietnam Business Council and the Hanoi Business Forum.
According to Abdullayev, the textile industry is of particular interest. Virtual meetings have already been organized between Azerbaijani and Vietnamese companies on cotton exports and possible cooperation. The companies exchanged catalogs and began to evaluate their trading prospects.
He pointed out that AZPROMO will continue to support these initiatives in accordance with business priorities.
In addition, according to Abdullayev, there is a positive trend in trade indicators between the two countries:
“In the first 5 months of 2025, trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Vietnam totaled $58.4 million (5% more versus Jan-May 2024).”
