Cost of education in Turkey approaches to European one: Outflow of students abroad increases

July 9, Fineko/abc.az. In Turkey, the cost of studying at private universities has increased sharply - from 13,000 euros ($15,239) up to 23,457 euros for students who do not receive scholarships, which is comparable or higher than prices in European countries.

ABC.AZ informs that this, along with high inflation and rising cost of living, increases the "brain drain" among young students.

Since 2025, the price increase for higher education has been 1316%.

In June 2024, the education sector became the leader in terms of inflation with an indicator of 73.33%, which is significantly higher than the overall level of 35.05%.
