In 5 months, banks' deposit expenses increased by 50%

June 25, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-May 2025, the banks in Azerbaijan paid interests on attracted deposits in the amount of 498.6 million manats.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the CBA that compared with Jan-May 2024, banks' interest expenses on deposits grew by 165.9 million manats, or by 50%.

In the first 5 months of 2024, the banks paid deposit interests for 332.7 million manats.
