Data unveiled on banks' income from interests on loans for past 5 months

June 25, Fineko/abc.az. The income of Azerbaijani banks from loans for Jan-May 2025 has been published.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that in the first 5 months of this year, banks' interest income on loans amounted to 1.541 billion manats (24% more against Jan-May 2024).

Banks' interest income on loans for Jan-May 2024 amounted to 1.245 billion manats.

Over Jan-May 2025, interest expenses totaled 695.1 million manats. Most of the interest expenses were interest expenses on deposits.
