May 30, Fineko/abc.az. The upper limit of subsidies allocated from the State Budget for 2025 to the Nakhchivan budget was originally planned at the level of 320.5 million manats. However, this amount was subsequently reduced to 285.7 million manats.

According to ABC.AZ’s  research, over the past 2 years, the total amount of subsidies has decreased by 349.85 million manats. This reduction related to ensuring budget revenues from local resources as a result of the economic reforms carried out in the NAR, increasing transparency and combating corruption.

The Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic continues to receive subsidies from the State Budget, but the amount of this support is decreasing.

This trend is linked with growth of the NAR’s economic independence and local incomes.
