May 19, Fineko/abc.az. Over the past 4 months of 2025, the automobile fuel production in Azerbaijan decreased against 2024.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that gasoline production dropped by 17% versus last year to 424,400 tons. There are 44,000 tons of fuel in stock.

Azerbaijan imported 53,300 tons of AI-92 gasoline for $42.21 million from abroad in the 1st quarter. The figure is 5-fold more than for Jan-Apr 2024.

The diesel fuel production, which plays a key role in the economy, also fell by 8.2% to 726,400 tons a year.

If the production of fuel oil was suspended in the previous year, this year production was resumed and 55,000 tons of fuel oil were processed.
