April 10, Fineko/abc.az. This March, compared with the previous month, the largest price increase among individual food products was registered on the prices of fish and fish products.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the State Statistics Committee, growth of prices was recorded on milk and dairy products, table margarine, butter, sunflower and corn oils, lemons, oranges, bananas, apples, pears, kiwis, walnuts, hazelnuts, cabbage, broccoli, tomatoes, sweet peppers, eggplants, table beets, carrots, garlic rose in price., onions, potatoes, coffee, cocoa, carbonated and non-carbonated water, cigarettes.

Last month, a decrease compared with the previous month was observed on prices for flour, eggs, greens, cucumbers.

The consumer price index for non-food products in March 2025 made up 100.1% against the previous month, and for Jan-Mar - 102.7% compared with the 2024 same term. In March, compared with the previous month, an increase in prices for non-food products was observed in the prices of bricks, cement, orthopedic mattresses, furniture, jewelry, and a decrease in household appliances, mobile phones, and televisions. There were no significant changes in prices for other non-food products.
