For Jan-Aug months number of new Azerigaz consumers increased by 55,000

September 14, Fineko/abc.az. As of 1 September 2018 gas supplying operator Azerigaz, a sub-company of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), numbered 2,149,772 gas consumers.

Azerigaz reports that for the past 8 months of the year the operator registered 55,689 new consumers among the population.

"34,002 new gas consumers were registered in Baku, Sumgait and Absheron district, while 21,687 ones in the districts of the country,” Azerigaz said in a statement.
