March 6, Fineko/abc.az. Oil prices of benchmark grades are rising in Thursday’s trading after a drop of almost by 5% this week.

The price of Brent crude oil futures for May on the ICE Futures exchange increased by $0.42 (0.61%) to $69.72 per barrel by 09:16. Following the trading on March 5, May’s Brent crude futures fell by $1.74 (2.45%) to $69.30 per barrel.

The price of April’s WTI crude oil futures on the NYMEX commodity exchange grew by $0.40 (0.60%) to $66.71 per barrel by 09:16. Following the trading on March 5, WTI oil futures for April fell in price by $1.95 (2.86%) to $66.31 per barrel.

Following three sessions this week, Brent crude fell by 4.82%, WTI crude by 4.95%.
