September 7, Fineko/abc.az. 86.4% of chemical producer Azerkimya, a sub-company of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) was exported for 2017.

The SOCAR annual report 2017 says that Azerkimya processed 344,090 tons of petrochemical raw materials.

"As a result of processing, it was produced 96,100 tons of ethylene, 48,600 tons of propylene and 110,500 tons of other valuable products of pyrolysis. Actual percentage of olefins in pyrolysis device EP-300 made up 42%. Volume of polyethylene produced during the year amounted to 93,200 tons. In 2017, 13.6% of petrochemical products were designed for the country and 86.4% were exported," the SOCAR report says.
