January 22, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are slightly changing in Wednesday’s trading after a drop following the previous two sessions.

The price of Brent crude futures for March on the ICE Futures exchange increased by $0.06 (0.08%) to $79.35 per barrel by 09:18. Following the trading on January 21, March’s Brent crude futures fell by $0.86 (1.07%) to $79.29 per barrel.

The price of March’s WTI crude oil futures at the NYMEX commodity exchange declined by $0.05 (0.07%) to $75.78 per barrel by 09:18. Following the trading on January 21, WTI crude futures for March decreased in price by $0.73 (0.95%) to $75.83 per barrel.

Last week, crude oil Brent rose by 1.29%, while WTI by 1.71%. Since the beginning of this week, Brent has already lost 1.86% in price, while WTI has lost 2.56%.
