January 14, Fineko/abc.az. LUKOIL's Board of Directors has decided to terminate the powers of CEO Vadim Vorobyov ahead of schedule.

ABC.AZ informs that Sergey Kochkurov has been appointed as the new head of the company.

Vadim Vorobyov came under U.S. sanctions imposed on January 10 against the Russian energy sector. He has been the head of LUKOIL since the spring of 2022.
