January 9th, Fineko/abc.az. In 2024, 3.369 million people in Azerbaijan used air transport services to visit 42 countries.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the State Tourism Agency, that this is 7 countries and 769,300 passengers more than in 2023.

In 2024, the largest number of passengers from Azerbaijan chose to travel to Russia - 913,500, Turkey - 874,400 and the UAE - 420,100.

Top 10 of countries to which citizens traveled for visits include Georgia, Saudi Arabia, India, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Italy and Uzbekistan.

In December 2024, 262,112 passengers used air transport to travel from Azerbaijan (19.9% more against the same month of 2023).
