January 7, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has made new appointments to the positions of general director and adviser to the chairman, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the CBA.

Fuad Isayev was appointed general director of the CBA, and Ulvin Aliyev - adviser to the chairman.

Thus, the number of general directors of the Central Bank increased to 6, and the number of advisers to the chairman increased to 4.

Fuad Isayev started his career at CBA in 2005. Prior to his new appointment, he held the position of the director of the Credit Institutions Supervision Department.

Ulvin Aliyev started his career in tourism in 2009. Since 2022, he has been working at the Central Bank, until his last appointment, Aliyev was the director of the Department of the Office of the Chairman's Administration.
