December 23, Fineko/abc.az. A new thermal power plant will be constructed in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

ABC.AZ reports that President Ilham Aliyev signed an order in this regard.

Under the order, the State Oil Company, taking into account international experience, should ensure negotiations with potential partner investors on the construction of a new thermal power plant in the NAR, involve consulting companies, prepare a feasibility study and other project documentation, as well as submit it to the Cabinet Ministers of Azerbaijan in coordination with relevant governmental agencies (bodies) final proposals for implementation of the project within a five-month period.
