Central Bank's foreign exchange reserves exceeded $10 bn in November

December 18, Fineko/abc.az. As of the end of November 2024, the Central Bank's foreign exchange reserves amounted to $10.9 billion. This significantly exceeds the relevant standards of sufficiency adopted at the international level. 

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the Central Bank that the current level of foreign exchange reserves of the regulatory body is 2 times higher than imports of goods and services in 3 months. The projected current account surplus gives reason to expect that stability in the foreign exchange market will be ensured in 2025. According to the October forecast, the current account surplus is expected to be $5.5 billion in 2025.
