Azerbaijan's export revenues decreased by 32% - Report

December 18, Fineko/abc.az. For Jan-Nov 2024, Azerbaijan exported 48, 259 tons of potatoes for $20.478 million. 

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Customs Committee that country’s potato exports decreased by $10.575 million or 34% in value terms and by 22,911 tons in quantitative terms (by 32%) compared to Jan-Nov 2023.

And in 11 months of 2023, the country exported 71,170 tons of potatoes for $31.53 million.

The average export price of 1 kg of potatoes exported by Azerbaijan during this period was 0.72 manats. In the same period of 2023, this figure was 0.74 manats. This means a decrease of 0.2 manats or 2.7% year-on-year. This year, potatoes accounted for 0.08% of total exports, while the non-oil sector accounted for about 0.66%.
