December 17, Fineko/abc.az. OpenAI has opened access to its own ChatGPT search engine for all users, including for those who do not have paid subscription. 

ABC.AZ informs that the tool is available in the web version of the chatbot, as well as in mobile and PC applications. Next week, the launch of advanced voice search in ChatGPT will take place. 

ChatGPT search can be set as the default search engine in the browser. In this case, the OpenAI tool will be used when querying in the search bar.
Additionally, maps have been added to ChatGPT on mobile devices, so you can search and discuss local restaurants and businesses using up-to-date information.
In December, OpenAI introduced a full-fledged version of the "thinking" o1 model and a professional mode for it.
