December 3, Fineko/abc.az. The total volume of deposits of individuals (including deposits of individuals engaged in entrepreneurial activities) increased by 9.4%, and by the end of September 2024 reached 14.2 billion manats. Most of the savings of individuals were made up of term deposits. The largest share (49.2%) in term deposits was made up of deposits for period of 1 to 5 years.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan that stability in dollarization was observed for the reported term.

The manat deposits grew by 4% (0.8 billion manats), and by the end of September reached 21.8 billion manats, and deposits in foreign currency increased by 1.4% (0.2 billion manats), and by the end of the period reached 13.8 billion manats.

At the end of the reported term, the level of dollarization of individual savings made up 34%.

The process of dollarization of deposits of legal entities has also stabilized. The share of foreign currency in deposits of legal entities decreased by 1.1 p.p., making up 41.8% at the end of the period.
