Banks earned 2.5 bn manats from loan interests in 10 months

November 27, Fineko/abc.az. The revenues of Azerbaijani banks from loans for Jan-Oct 2024 have been published.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that for the past 10 months of this year, banks' interest income on loans amounted to 2.518 billion manats (20% more versus Jan-Oct 2023 - 2.1 billion manats.

Over Jan-Oct 2024, interest expenses totaled 969.4 million manats. Most of the interest expenses are interest expenses on deposits.
