November 26, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan exported 8.46 bcm of natural gas to Turkey for Jan-Sept 2024, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (Enerji Piyasası Düzenleme Kurumu – EPDK).

According to EPDK report, the figure is 1.7% less than in the first 9 months of 2023.

This September, Azerbaijan exported 1.35 bcm of natural gas to Turkey (16.52% less versus September 2023).

Thus, in September, Azerbaijan became the second country exporting natural gas to Turkey. Azerbaijan accounts for 30.65% of all natural gas imported by Turkey.

In September 2023, Turkey imported 888.52 million cu m of natural gas from Azerbaijan.
