November 21, Fineko/abc.az. The Accounts Chamber of Azerbaijan has submitted a number of proposals to improve the budget structure of the Unemployment Insurance Fund for 2024.

ABC.AZ reports that these proposals were announced by Chamber’s chairman Vugar Gulmamedov during the discussion of the budget package at a joint meeting of parliamentary committees.

He noted that the structure of the laws on the budgetary system concerning the budgets of the extra-budgetary state funds of Azerbaijan, the indicators reflected in them, the attached documents, the range of information, as well as the requirements for information and indicators that should be reflected in the explanatory note, suggest the presence of additions that should be included in the Budget Package:

"We’ve presented this proposal in previous years as well. In addition, with realization of the necessary regulations, funds for mandatory public private insurance should be appropriately reflected in the budget of the State Social Protection Fund; from the 2nd half of 2023, they will be used in accordance with the established procedure with the entry into force of legal acts regulating investment activities and obtaining investment income."
