Another change regarding cash payments

 November 20, Fineko/abc.az. Financial sanctions will be applied to taxpayers who do not make non-cash payments for the purchase and sale of precious stones, precious metals, including products made of precious stones and products made of precious metals and cultural products, as well as for the purchase and sale of movable property registered in official registers (except for the sale of cars), for a total the amount is more than fifteen thousand manats.

ABC.AZ reports that this is reflected in the proposed amendment to the Tax Code.

According to the draft, these taxpayers will be subject to a financial sanction in 10% of the total amount of the transaction, 20% for the first time, 40% for the second time and three or more times during the calendar year.

If adopted, this law will enter into force on January 1, 2025.
