November 16, Fineko/abc.az. The banking sector of Azerbaijan will "green up" about 10% of its loan portfolio within 6 years.

ABC.AZ reports that CBA general director Shahin Mahmudzade said this at an event devoted to measuring climate risks within COP29.

He noted that starting from next year, some requirements will be introduced for the standards of information placement and the reporting system of banks: "In addition, we are considering the greening of our monetary policy and the introduction of a mandatory green insurance product".
