November 14, Fineko/abc.az. More than 50% of EBRD’s investments are directed for green energy.

ABC.AZ reports, quoting EBRD Vice President for Policy & Partnership Mark Bowman at the event «Global Financial System: Boosting Climate Action Financing" during COP29 in Baku.

"All EBRD operations have been reorganized in accordance with the objectives of the Paris Agreement. The EBRD is a structure focused on the private sector, we have a very specific business model. We help our clients integrate sustainability into the management framework through financing, technical support and capacity building programs. Our goal is to support our customers' operations to reduce emissions, ensure climate resilience and adapt to a low-carbon world. This is an important element for the competitiveness of our customers," he said.
