 November 14, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan's banking sector has committed to allocate 2 billion manats to finance sustainable and "green" projects by 2030.

ABC.AZ reports that Zakir Nuriyev, the president of the Association of Banks of Azerbaijan (ABA), made this statement during a CBA-organized panel discussion on the topic Global Financial System: Boosting Climate Action Financing" during COP29 in Baku.

"Azerbaijan's banking sector has committed to allocate 2 billion manats in Azerbaijan by 2030 to finance sustainable and green projects that will contribute to Azerbaijan's transition to a low-carbon, sustainable economy," he said.
