October 31, Fineko/abc.az. By CBA BOard’s decision, as part of optimization of business processes, it is planned to close regional centers in Ganja and Guba, as well as the city administration in Sumgayit, at the end of 2024, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the CBA.

The CBA associates this decision with development of regional infrastructure of local banks for cash logistics, meeting the demand for cash in these regions through existing infrastructure, as well as improving the efficiency of business processes.

Banks and national postal operator Azerpocht, serviced in the Ganja regional center, will be transferred to services in the Yevlakh reserve center of the Central Bank; banks and branches of Azerpocht, serviced in the Guba regional center and Sumgayit city administration - in the CBA administrative buildings located in Baku at addresses: Nasimi district, Rashid Beybutov Street 90 and Narimanov district, 10 Aliyar Aliyev Street.
