 October 25, Fineko/abc.az. The credit unions in Azerbaijan ended Jan-Sept of this year with loss of 530,000 manats. During Jan-Sept 2023, the credit unions suffered losses in the amount of 300,000 manats (77% more than a year earlier).

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the statistics of the Central Bank, the income of credit unions for Jan-Sept amounted to 1.6 million manats (6% less than a year ago), expenses - 1 million manats, and transfers to special reserves - 1.2 million manats.

As of October 1. 2024, the assets of credit unions totaled 12.7 million manats (7.3% less than 1 year ago). Of them, 10.9 million manats are loans to customers. Over the past 1 year, the sector's loan portfolio has decreased by 7%.
