October 23, Fineko/abc.az. Non-bank credit organizations should prepare for a new era, develop in the field of investments, information technology, auditing and other areas.

ABC.AZ informs that Elchin Gabibov, executive director of the Azerbaijan Credit Bureau, said this at Baku conference "Innovative solutions for sustainable microfinance".

He pointed out that although NBCOs do not have such broad opportunities as banks, they have their own views and approaches: "The many years of experience gained in the field of microfinance is one of the strengths of these organizations. There are several NBCOs in the country competing with banks."

Gabibov said that NBCOs should develop in the field of investments, information technology, and auditing: "This means that we are moving forward, adhering to the experience of advanced Western countries. Either in the future, NBCOs will operate as a limited bank, or continue to operate in their current form. Obviously, we are moving in the first direction."
