October 18, Fineko/abc.az. It is necessary to introduce various innovative solutions in Azerbaijan to expand green financing.

ABC.AZ reports that the appointed president of CAP 29, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources Mukhtar Babayev said this at the forum "Green Financing & Sustainable Development" in Baku.

He added that transition to "green economy" is one of the key priorities.

"This transition is necessary for the long-term sustainable development of our country's economy. One of the key factors in the development of the "green economy" is the availability of necessary financing. To do this, it is also important to raise public awareness of green financing and develop a dialogue between all stakeholders," the minister said.
