October 1, Fineko/abc.az. Over the past 8 months of this year, the volume of goods produced and services rendered in the capital's industry amounted to 35.4 billion manats.
ABC.AZ was informed at the Baku City Statistics Department that 75.9% of industrial products were produced in the sectors of mining, 20.9% - processing, 2.3% - production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam, and 0.9% - water supply, waste treatment and recycling.
The share of the non-governmental sector in industry was 82.5%. The share of industrial products in the total volume of production was 90.1%, and provision of industrial services was 9.9%.
Most of the manufactured products were shipped to consumers, taking into account the stocks created in previous periods in the warehouses of industrial enterprises, as of September 1, 2024, there were stocks of finished products in the amount of 470.2 million manats.
There were other products in the warehouses of industrial enterprises in the amount of 31.4 million manats, purchased from other enterprises and intended for sale.
