Banks' income from interest on loans exceeded 2 billion manats in eight months

September 27, Fineko/abc.az. The revenues of Azerbaijani banks from loans for Jan-Aug 2024 have been published.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Central Bank that for 8 months of this year, banks' interest income on loans amounted to 2.048 billion manats (22% more versus Jan-Aug 2023).

Banks' interest income on loans for Jan-Aug 2023 reached 1.68 billion manats.

Over Jan-Aug, interest expenses amounted to 774 million manats. Most of the interest expenses came from deposits.
