September 24, Fineko/abc.az. American billionaire Dan Friedkin has agreed to buy the Everton football club.

Dan Friedkin has reached an agreement to purchase 94% of English football club Everton from businessman Farhad Moshiri's Blue Heaven Holdings.

The financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Analytical company Football Benchmark in January estimated the value of the club at 474 million pounds ($632.7 million), including the debt of the team.

The deal must be approved by UK football and financial regulators.

Friedkin also owns Italian football club Roma, at the beginning of the year he was in talks to buy Everton, but in July they fell through.
