April 10, Fineko/abc.az. American company Nike, a manufacturer of sports goods, may replace German company Adidas as a supplier of balls for the Champions League, ABC.AZ informs, referring to Bloomberg.

The UEFA football organization is already conducting exclusive negotiations with Nike on the supply of balls for the tournament. The American company may also become a supplier of balls for the Europa League and the Conference League.

A contract for 2027-2031 is currently under discussion. The value of the deal may amount to over 40 million euros per year, which will be received by UEFA.

Adidas has been producing Champions League balls for 25 years – since 2001. Decathlon produces balls for the Europa League and the UEFA Conference League.
