July 24, Fineko/abc.az. American prediction platform Kalshi recorded trading volume of $27 bn and attracted approx. 3 million users during World Cup 2026, exceeding its initial forecasts almost 2-fold.

Previously, the company had expected volume of $13 bn and 1.5 million new users. The tournament, which featured 48 teams, was the most profitable in FIFA history and was won by Spain.

Similar prediction platforms have been gaining popularity among investors and users since the US presidential election of 2024.
