August 29, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has seen an increase of 37,929 tons in pomegranate exports in six years.
ABC.AZ reports, citing State Statistics Committee data, that 9,258 tons of pomegranates were exported in 2018, while in 2023 the figure reached 47,187 tons.
In 2023, the country sold 8,579 tons more pomegranates abroad, or 22% more than in 2022. In 2022, pomegranate exports amounted to 38,608 tons.
