August 29, Fineko/abc.az. Saudi Arabia has pledged to install solar panels on the roofs of government buildings in Kyrgyzstan. The decision was reached during a meeting between Kyrgyzstan's Minister of Energy, Taalaibek Ibraev, and the General Director of FAS Energy, Turki Alhoqair, held in Bishkek.

ABC.AZ reports that the meeting focused on exploring Kyrgyzstan's energy cooperation potential and discussing opportunities for joint projects and knowledge exchange in modern technologies.

The collaboration culminated in the signing of a Memorandum, aimed at deepening the energy partnership between Kyrgyzstan and Saudi Arabia. The primary objective of the Memorandum is to install solar panels on the roofs of government buildings and enterprises, enhancing the efficiency of renewable energy utilization in the country.

This initiative underscores Kyrgyzstan's commitment to developing green energy and attracting foreign investments in the sector.
