August 23, Fineko/abc.az. As of August 1, 2024, the total deposit portfolio of individuals and legal entities in Azerbaijan, excluding financial institutions, amounted to 34,381.3 million manats.

ABC.AZ reports, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), the volume of this indicator decreased by 2.3% or 803.7 million manats compared to July 1, 2024.

It is noted that last month, deposits of individuals decreased by 219.3 million manats compared to the previous month and amounted to 13,661 million manats, while deposits of legal entities decreased by 584.5 million manats, reaching 20,720.3 million manats.

In July, the total assets of the banking sector decreased from 50,328.1 million manats to 49,089.3 million manats, marking a decline of 1,238.8 million.
