August 23, Fineko/abc.az. As of July 1 of the current year, Azerbaijan's external public debt amounted to $5.361 billion.

According to ABC.AZ, this represents 7.5% of the projected GDP for 2024 (121.34 billion manats or $71.378 billion).

Since the beginning of the year, the external public debt has decreased by 17%.

The country's total public debt, both domestic and external, amounted to 25.686 billion manats.
