August 22, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), with the participation of the State Oil Fund, has held a foreign exchange auction.

According to the CBA's statement, the demand from banks at the currency auction on August 22 amounted to $76.2 million and was fully met. That marks an increase of $1.4 million (1.9%) compared to the previous auction.

At the currency auction held on August 20, the CBA sold $74.8 million to banks. Following the latest auction, the weighted average exchange rate of the Azerbaijani manat settled at 1.7000 AZN/USD.
