July 31, Fineko/abc.az. The Board of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has decided to maintain the discount rate at 7.25%.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the CBA that the lower limit of the interest rate corridor was maintained at 6.25%, and the upper limit was 8.25%.

"This decision was made taking into account the formation of actual inflation rates in accordance with the forecast, the preservation of projected inflation at the target level (4±2%), as well as the dynamics of internal and external inflation factors," the CBA said.

Information about CBA’s next decision on the parameters of the discount rate will be made public on September 18.
