At currency auction, banks reduced demand by 32.7%

July 25, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), with the participation of the State Oil Fund, held a currency auction.

According to the CBA, at the currency auction on July 25, the demand of banks totaled $55.2 million and was fully secured ($26.8 million (32.7%) less than at the last auction.

At a foreign exchange auction on July 23, the CBA sold $82 million to banks.

Following the currency auction, the weighted average exchange rate of the manat was formed at the level of 1.7000 AZN/USD.
