July 23, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), with the participation of the State Oil Fund, held a currency auction.

According to the CBA, at the foreign exchange auction on July 23, the demand of banks amounted to $82 million and was fully provided. This is $1.8 million (2.24%) more than at the last auction.

At a foreign exchange auction on July 18, the CBA sold $80.2 million to banks.

According to the results of the currency auction, the weighted average exchange rate of the manat was formed at the level of 1.7000 AZN/USD.
