July 5, Fineko/abc.az. Industrial production in Germany declined for May.

In May, industrial production in Germany lowered by 2.5% compared to April. This was the sharpest decline in the last 1.5 years.

The annual drop in German industrial production was recorded at the level of 6.7%.

During this period, the production of cars, machinery and electrical equipment in the country decreased more than by 5%.

Contrary to expectations, there was also a decline in industrial orders in May.
