June 27, Fineko/abc.az. In the near future, various production enterprises will start operating in the Aghdam Industrial Park.

ABC.AZ reports that the statement was made by Seymur Adigezalov, the chairman of board of the Economic Zones Development Agency, during the visit of entrepreneurs to the Aghdam Industrial Park within the event "New Opportunities for Entrepreneurs: Let's Revive Karabakh Together".

He noted that in terms of the number of residents, the Aghdam Industrial Park is the second in the country after the Sumgayit Chemical Industrial Park.

"25 business entities have received the status of a resident of the industrial park, and 6 more companies are registered as non-residents. The total volume of their investments exceeds 216 million manats. At the expense of these business entities, it is planned to create more than 2,000 jobs in the industrial park. To date, investments by residents have exceeded 35 million manats, and about 300 permanent jobs created," Adigezalov said.
